"One of my work trucks broke down on a job in Oceanside. Since I live in San Diego I had know idea where to tow it. Triple A recommended two places that were close. I then talked with Nate at Mastertech and he hooked me up. Had it towed there and he did new fuel pump that day. Nate was great and kept me informed all the way through. Great service, very fair prices. Wish Nate and company were in San Diego!"

WELCOME TOMastertech Automotive Experts

Mastertech was founded in March of 1995 by George "Lou" Lewis and Rick Sing. Lou was an ASE Master Technician with extensive mechanical experience who specialized in emission repairs and electronic diagnosis. Born and raised in Oceanside, Lou aspired to build a respected highly skilled automotive repair business serving all of the surrounding communities he had come to love. Rick was also an ASE Certified Technician who was employed as an Oceanside Police Officer that owned and operated a part-time auto repair facility. They joined forces and proceed to build their dream business.

Rick and Lou decided to retire after 30 years of ownership in September of 2025. They were able to sell to a former employee, Jayson Bolster. He is also an ASE Master Technician and former business owner. Jayson looks forward to continuing to serve the surrounding communities with the same excellent service. He will be expanding the shops services from Domestic and Asian automobiles, trucks and diesels. He will now be servicing European models of automobiles, trucks and diesels. All done in our 6000 sqft. building with 8 lifts, an alignment machine, tire changing equipment and the latest diagnostic equipment. All of us at Mastertech look forward to serving you and your automotive needs.
